Volunteers: All of our club's coaches are volunteers and most of them are parents of players. M.O.T. Soccer provides ongoing training for coaches through preseason clinics and reference materials. Please volunteer to coach a team, it is a very rewarding experience to hear your child say my Dad / Mom is our coach! Many of you will be asked to work one volunteer shift this season. When you are asked please honor the request. We are an all volunteer organization that is growing rapidly.
Donations: The MOT Soccer Club is a registered 501(c) non-profit organization under IRS Guidelines. Any donations made to the club in excess of the registration may be tax-deductible. In addition, many area corporations offer matching donations - so you are helping the club even further. Your tax-deductible donations will help us fund new equipment for Middletown Village fields, new field space, and need-based scholarships to allow under-privileged children in our community the opportunity to play soccer. Please strongly consider donating, and asking your employer to contribute as well.
Coaches: DYSA and USYSA are beginning to require coaches to provide sufficient personal information to perform a background check. The MOT Soccer club has decided to require all head coaches to consent to random background checks. We have provided an online registration form to streamline that process. Once you do it once, you only need to verify it in future seasons.
