TOPSoccer Coordinator
M.O.T. Soccer Club is proud to offer TOPSoccer!
TOPSoccer is a community based soccer program designed by US Youth Soccer to meet the needs of children with physical and/or mental challenges. The program is geared toward player development rather than competition.
TOPSoccer players are grouped by ability not by age. Players develop a sense of belonging to a community and learn the value of being part of a team. They experience an improvement in self-esteem, fitness, and social skills because success is measured by their own ability. It is a fun and healthy activity your child will enjoy.
TOPSoccer players meet and play each Saturday during the Fall season for 60 to 75 minutes. The first 45 minutes consists of teaching three soccer skills to the players. After that they are broken into teams to play small sided soccer matches for 30 minutes. At the end of each session, the players will huddle with their coaches to review what they have learned, talk about next week, and give lots of "high fives".
We encourage our Recreational and Representative players to assist our TOPSoccer Coaches as TOPSoccer Buddies.
If you would like more information or would like to volunteer as a TOPSoccer Coach or Buddy please contact our TOPSoccer Coordinator.
