Gameday & Practice Weather Cancellation Procedure Recreational Program Players should assume that games and practices are being held as scheduled unless told otherwise. If games or practices are cancelled due to inclement weather, the Club will strive to use the following communication vehicles to relay the message:
- Mass e-mail all players with cancellation information - this method is the most timely and effective one so please ensure that the Club has an e-mail address that you can access on Saturdays - if you are receiving this e-mail, then you would also receive any weather-related e-mails on gamedays
- Leave message on Club's phone # (302-376-8097) which will mention the cancellation - be warned that you may get several busy signals before you get the message
- Revise the flying text banner on Club's website homepage (www.motsoccer.com) to mention the cancellation
From a logistic standpoint, the Club can mass e-mail everyone with cancellation information and change its voice mail message quicker than it can change the website. If we experience inclement weather, we strive to do all three of these items as quick as possible on gamedays prior to folks needing to leave for the earliest (i.e. 9:00 am) games.
Representative Program
M.O.T. coaches will be contacted (e-mail or phone) with cancellations.
